Shehara Mayadunne is a Research Associate from the NAMASTE Sri Lanka team who attended the INSAR Annual Meeting in 2025 in Seattle, Washington, USA from 30 April to 3 May 2025. 

Shehara was a recipient of the INSAR 2025 Student and Trainee Travel Award, which offers a $500 (USD) stipend to help defray the costs of attending the INSAR 2025 Annual Meeting. 

Shehara delivered a poster presentation on ‘Implementing a Training Program on Autism Screening for Non-Specialist Healthcare Workers in Sri Lanka: Evaluating Preliminary Feasibility and Impact’.
